Dr Ashley Seawright, eye surgeon, was born and educated in Toowoomba and completed his initial tertiary education with a medical degree at University of Queensland in 1982.
After broad medical experience including years as a public hospital doctor, a general practitioner and several medical attachments in Western Queensland, Dr Seawright completed the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists’ training programme in Brisbane in 2000.
He completed his fellowship year in Taunton, Somerset, UK, before taking up a role as a consultant Ophthalmologist & Toowoomba Eye Doctor in 2002.
His special interests are cataract surgery, glaucoma management, and macular diseases. He performs surgery at the Toowoomba Surgicentre and St Vincents Hospital.
Our Staff
We have a friendly and experienced team of administrative and nursing staff. The senior staff have worked with Dr Seawright, continuously for more than 15 years.
